We are lucky to have Natalie come to the house to cut our hair. She is very efficient and does a good job and is, in fact, a better hairdresser than those available in the village. After the weekly shop, I finished the proposed itinerary for our Christmas visits which I have now sent off to all the family. There was no tennis lesson today because it is still the school holidays but four of us met up instead to play an England v France doubles match. I am glad to say England won! I went on to the French conversation group. There were only three of us and the rescue helicopter kept going backwards and forwards overhead while we were talking. Daniel, who is the village correspondent for the local paper, left a little early to drive down to see if there was a story to write.
