Another shot of the Irwell

We were in the office all day, today, along with our colleague, Laura. She was hugely excited by the release of one of the albums that Taylor Swift is re-recording, and as one of my chief pleasures is hearing someone being enthusiastic, I happily learned a lot more about Taylor than might be typical for a man of my age.

And after work, the Minx and I thought we might go to The Everyman, but in the end we just wandered down into Manchester, bought some food for dinner, and then swung by Joule for a drink on the way home, followed by a relaxed evening in front of the woodburner.
