Making Friends

Spent this morning at a Trends Seminar, learning about what is forecast to be in vogue for home furnishings and fashion in Autumn and Winter 2014/15 ! Lots of lovely fabrics and ideas, textures and styles but I find it hard to take it too seriously when I think about the real world.

Once home Ollie and I wandered along the beach and then up onto the hill. This cow, her three friends, and their calves, have just been moved into the field at the top of the village. She must have seen dogs before, but perhaps not ones that look like Ollie, because when she saw him her eyes were out on stalks! We will be walking past her on a daily basis, so I hope she will get used to him - and me - soon!
