Two terns

When I walked along Seven Mile Beach this afternoon many Crested Terns were vigorously preening. The light was not great - today was hot and windy with bushfires to the north and west of us and the atmosphere was smoky. We are not in any danger, but others are suffering. It's not a good start to summer.
