Over the fence

As I walked to the village this morning I leaned over a fence to photograph a spectacular flower in a neighbour's small courtyard garden. The flowers are large, 15cm or more across, hence it's botanic name of Magnolia grandiflora meaning big flower. It comes from the southern parts of the USA and, according to Wikipedia, can grow into a big tree. I wonder if my neighbour knows that?
