Happy Birthday Turkey

It is a great celebration day in Turkey for its centenary as a democratic secular republic. It was my intention to go to Didim to watch the celebrations this evening, but for various reasons, I didn't go. 

Instead, I went to Akbuk with Graham and Kat and the three of us went to the villa to have a look at the work done yesterday in my absence - new taps and shower and various water maintenance issues.  It all looks great.  Then, unsurprisingly, we went for dinner at Pasa on the Akbuk seafront. 

Today's view is of Akbuk centre and the Aegean Sea beyond taken from the villa's roof top terrace.
