Nutella

I cooked a breakfast for everybody. It seemed to go down well. We had the morning at home. About 3pm we all headed off to Waterloo.  J&M  were getting a day to themselves and were off to a party in the evening. We were looking after the children and, when we had said our goodbyes in Waterloo, took them to Sainsbury’s to make sure we had plenty of snacks. O was quite keen to pay his share of everything - which was nice but unnecessary.

We headed down to Tower Bridge where we were boarding a Terrible Thames boat tour, branded by the Horrible Histories people, on a ride down the Thames with actors telling the story of London. The two people performing were excellent but some of it went a bit over everybody’s heads.

After docking back, we walked to London Bridge where we offered to buy everybody a present at the Hamely’s store. It was a very small branch so the choice was limited. A took forever to pick her soft toy - it was a it overwhelming - and O decided he didn’t want anything so we ended up topping up his bank account later int he day.

We’d picked Pizza Pilgrims at London Bridge for dinner.  It was lovely and the service excellent. O wanted to share his pizza with A, which was nice. But his Nutella pizza ring, for dessert, was the star of the evening.
