A Strange Craft

Walking along the Leeds - Liverpool canal at Rodley, just outside Leeds, we came across this strange craft.
No idea what it might be - but by the size of the windows (portholes) it must be pretty dark inside.
Couldn't see any name or clue on the outside.
Do we have any blippers who can help solve the mystery?
