Beech leaves still clinging on

It was a bit of a grey damp day, quite a rarity for us in recent weeks. I spent the morning at the community orchard where there was a combined event with the neighbouring native tree nursery. It was good to see some new faces coming to join in the events and find out what we do in these two community projects. A great plus was meeting with the gentleman who is a fruit tree expert and who has agreed to give us some very valuable advice at the orchard.
