Last view

From our accommodation in Liguria before heading home.

We drove to the tunnel as the Grand St Bernard pass is closed to traffic until spring. However, we did see some young men and later, having spoken to a friend, realised that they were refugees attempting to walk over the pass, using the closed road, into Switzerland. I hope they made it ok as the temperature was dropping and it looked like there was snow at the top. There can’t be many more days left now that this will be possible.
