raclette

According to dear old google, a 'raclette' is a type of cheese and Swiss dish that involves heating, melting and scraping of melted cheese.

Not quite so this raclette, a great communal eating experience for all . This involves a hot plate, grill and cute little 'shovels' which slot under grill for delicious, gooey things like potatoes with melted cheese, prawns in butter..etc etc.

Our hosts first met dad and mum at my 21st birthday party in Liverpool. Amazingly, after travelling and living around the world in different directions, we now live in the same street in Western Australia!!
