After a great deal of kerfuffle about a faulty iPhone cable (so they didn't have any charge left), Pauline and granddaughter L made it down to Leith (on a no 36 bus, very brave!) and I took them to the Roseleaf for lunch. Then they were heading off (on a 35!) to the university area to meet up with granddaughter M who had been attending lectures.

D sent me a video clip of the huge swell washing over the low pier - apparently the Belle came as if to land, but none of the punters wanted to get off! Hence the three Inchcolm colleagues who were on board just stayed there and went straight back to Hawes. A day off for everyone, inc D who can make himself quite cosy.
