Return of the Queen

A quick blip this morning before work. Noticed this as I was feeding the birds - my favourite geranium and possibly my favourite plant in the garden - Ann Folkhard. The true ground cover queen, this plant just lights up the garden with her magenta blooms and and bright light green foliage. Only three buds opened but so good to see after the long winter.
Another in the current Blipfoto catalogue of cultivated cranesbills or geraniums, there have been so many blips in the last few days, all showing off the excellent qualities of this wonderful plant family.
