Life on the Good Intent

The River Clyde

A day off work today - started nicely with an unexpected visit from Carole my old neighbour. Lovely to see her even if I was still in my jammies having a late breakfast.
I did some chores then went to visit AnnieBScotland.
I was so pleased to see yet more improvement, John and Sally seem happier too, it is tough for them all.
We all had a laugh as it seems the doctor had actually prescribed wine - and I had smuggled in a wee bottle of Chablis, pre-empted doctor's orders!
As it was just before rush hour I didn't fancy battling my way round the M74 so I stopped off at Baron's Haugh RSPB reserve and went for a walk. I think it was siesta time for the wildlife - not much happening.

Light was a bit grey so this is a wee bit enhanced, a dreamy view of the beautiful River Clyde.

Then as I drove through Stenhousemuir Vic Galloway played a Negresses Vertes track. I hadn't heard them for years since we got burgled and my cd stolen.
A rare treat from the denizens of Larbert and Stenhousemuir - cranked up the volume but forgot my window was down. Brilliant expressions as I drove by.
Have a good weekend Blipland.
