Last of the Autumn Sun.....

After being inside stocktaking for the day I found the coolness of the air down by the river quite refreshing. The river was calm as the last of the autumn sun began its descent, seagulls circled above squarking while shags zoomed in from the sea to roost in trees. Joggers and walkers were also catching the last of the day as street lights came on behind me.

Then there was laughter and lots of calling out as  these kids paddled there way along what had become the golden river - what better place to be on a Friday evening with the weekend lying ahead, its good to be back home.
