Symmetry
Robert painted the kitchen so we had to go out to eat. We went to Lardo and had delicious sandwiches. Then we walked back through Ladd's Addition, an early subdivision that managed to build a mix of grand and modest homes on a circular series of streets, inscribed in a square, where the streets were each planted with a different tree and each small circle is a rose garden. A hundred years later, it is still a beautiful example of city housing.
