I’m still practicing the heart so I can do it behind the family.

This is a ghost bike. In the US if a bicyclist is killed, sometimes someone will put up a bike at that location, painted white, in memoriam. This bike has been there for years. Someone puts up Christmas ornaments and hearts in the tree. Someone has put flowers in the basket.

A growing number of Russian combatants have fled over the past 20 months of war. They are being helped by a Georgia-based anti-war organization Idite Lesom, which literally means “go through the forest” in Russian. The phrase is used as profanity, roughly  “”go *** yourself.” Idite Lesom’s founder, Grigory Sverdlin, said his group has helped more than 500 Russian soldiers to desert so far.
The Ukrainian army has few M39 missiles and is using them carefully. In their second-ever strike with the M39, on Wednesday, the Ukrainians apparently targeted a Russian air force S-400 air-defense battery in Luhansk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. Videos and photos show smoke curling from what Russian social-media users say was an S-400 battery.
A lioness, named Ayse, rescued from a zoo in war-torn Ukraine, could be rehomed in the UK with her cubs. Aysa was pregnant when she was abandoned at a private zoo in the Donetsk region at the start of Russia's invasion. She was moved to another facility in Ukraine, where she gave birth to cubs Teddi, Emi, and Santa. Yorkshire Wildlife Park said it was working to get permission to move the lions to the UK before Christmas. They are currently at Poznan Zoo in Poland.
