Flight feathers not quite straight. Not quite perfected lift. Certainly enough flap. Direction, no. That would require lift then tilt.

Found. A failed flight. Helpless.

Wrapped. Nest like. Warm. Brief home. A brief return home.

Warm nest unwrapped. Preflight feathers opened. Hands open. Wings beat. Lift achieved.
