Today, while the sun shines, work with a will;
Today all your duties with patience fulfill.
Today, while the birds sing, harbor no care;
Call life a good gift; call the world fair.
The sun streams through the external archway into the inner courtyard of Blair Drummond House. Originally surrounded by servants' quarters, the gun store, and pantries the courtyard is now enclosed by a residential house, storage cellars, and a workshop now lying empty since it moved to the new building last year. A sunny spot, the courtyard is often the scene of barbeques and community lunches.
It is exciting times just now at Camphill Blair Drummond as the first of our double houses is due for completion this week. Over the next two weeks all the furnishings will be arriving, the houses will be dressed, and the residents will move into their new accommodation.
A blip will follow soon once the herras fencing is removed.
