Sun ....

Hooray!

We got the sun this afternoon for about 45 minutes ... just before the heavens opened!

I've being going to blip this wall for ages but always had better other choices each time I photographed it. A 5 minute run outside after lunch time and here it is.

It forms part of the retaining wall for the terrace and lawn of Blair Drummond House and must be 20 ft high. It is quite a work of art with rounded bastions at either end and in the middle. It runs the full length of the house.

The original owners of Blair Drummond House, who live on the estate in Park House, are taking part in Scotland's Gardens Scheme on Sunday 24 June. Teas will be served in Blair Drummond House and you can visit us between 1.00 - 5.00 pm. All proceeds go to Camphill Blair Drummond.

For those of you who are interested in seeing first hand what a lot of my life and my blips are about, and are free on 24th, it is for a very worthy cause and it would be good to meet you.
