Briza Maxima

Commonly known around here as blowfly grass! ; )
Originally a native of North Africa and it  found a home here long ago and shows up every year around September October especially down by the river where we often walk.  I find them quite attractive as they are very flimsy and papery and shiver in the wind!  
In extras Toto in the perfectly dappled light at the river ; )

I didnt follow the challenge today because the blowfly grass caught my eye! : ). Thanks to pinkhairedlady for hosting ; )
