Leaves on Fire

After two days of heavy rain, I think we will see a bit of sun today.  Our leaves are just past peak, but they are positively glowing next to the dark, damp trees.  The locust branches add a touch of spookiness to the view from my front porch.  A day of errands for me.  We are going to have a rather warm week ahead.  Good weather for John to finish the cutting back.  Gift#294: autumn leaves.
