Sunday roast

Today we returned to The Woodbine with the family in tow for an early evening Sunday roast dinner.  We were not disappointed.  The dinners were excellent as were the deserts which consisted of some flavours of their homemade ice cream (I was too busy eating to take a photo), a chocolate brownie and two protions of sticky toffee pudding.  I confess that, unusually, I tasted them all!
My picture is a phone shot, which shows how wonderfully the sunset can be seen from this pub.  I also show, at least in the original, a glimpse of the ongoing roadworks along here, a situation which has plagued locals now for years rather than months.  Every utility has done something and still the water flows along this road!
