Glendurgan gardens. National Trust, Autumn,
I went for a walk along the cliff path this morning to sit on a bench above the Cove in lovely sunshine. I could have sat there all day enjoying the beauty and peace.
Stephen had gone for a longer walk along the SW coast path which included several steep descents and ascents along the way.
We met up again for lunch back at the same place as yesterday.
Then set off for Glendurgan gardens which are set in a wooded steep valley bordering the beautiful Helford River where it reaches the sea.
Another feast for the eyes.
The main photo is the maze.
We watched a family with some children trying to find their way round as we were walking down the other side of the valley. They were having fun trying to find their way to the centre. Lots of wrong twists and turns.
We meandered our way down until we reached the small beach where I watched a beautiful yacht in full sail just heading out to the sea.
It reminded me of the book I am reading at the moment.
A few more photos in extras.
