Burning Bright...

A trip to Chester Zoo today. Here's a Sumatran Tiger trying hard to work up enough energy to leave its sun-warmed rock. Like most cats, it wasn't really motivated to do much more than yawn. ;-)

A smashing day with far too much to look at, and despite my reservations about, heh, animal reservations it was great to see the conservation work Chester are doing. I might have to visit the relocated Bristol Zoo at some stage.

Travelling back down tomorrow, and nervously checking to see where the floodwaters are having the worst impact on roads. Lucky for us roads are the focus... some of my friends have had a worse time of it. Hope you've all been ok.
