After the storm

By mid afternoon the wind had died down and the sun came out. The deer came out too and so did the moon as the sun was setting - see extra.
I attended my first Cairdeas (pronounced ‘cardis’) meeting as a board member. Cairdeas is a Gaelic word meaning world-wide friendship and fellowship. They work in palliative care and often in conflict regions. We heard some inspiring and heart wrenching stories, especially from colleagues in Gaza.
