Duvet day ?

At half past midnight we got the message that Mum was being transferred to the Cardiology ward in the hospital. Still no message about what was wrong exactly, but at least we could go to sleep knowing she would be in the best place and watched properly.

This afternoon we heard that she had suffered a heart infarct, though probably a small one. To be honest, I didn’t know heart infarcts could be big or small. It’s the weekend, so finding out eventual further damage to the heart , the coronaries and her kidneys won’t be examined until Monday. She is in a room with another lady, she was lucid although sometimes a bit confused and was at times even cheerful. All we can do is wait to hear about the damage and the possible treatments.
