Old and the New!
Condor Vitesse LINK slows down to enter St Peter Port Harbour after her voyage from Poole in Dorset.
The trip takes less than 3 hours and is quite comfortable. The main reason it takes 3 hours is because the terminal is at the inner end of Poole Harbour so it is a fairly slow trip across the harbour to the entrance and on a sunny day, Poole Harbour is really beautiful...worth the trip for that!
In today's blip Vitesse is approaching from the North, down the Little Russel and this view is over the top of Castle Cornet which forms part of the Southern side of the harbour.
If you look you will also see the top of the lighthouse which is at the far end of the southern breakwater.
The picture was taken from Belvedere Field in Fort George which provides a very nice vantage point!
Happy Thursday!
