Sky Poppies
As you walk up Coleshill Street, you see these poppies against the sky, from one of the high gardens there.
Poppies - symbol of long sleep, as in the poppy field in Wizard of Oz, and therefore of death, as in war remembrance - but in classical mythology, can also be of resurrection - which I think these, blowing in the wind today - were more reminiscent of.
Wonderful heavy rain today - the garden was so dry. But now it's cold...
