Bowls
A very wet and windy day today a lazy morning was then followed by a drive over to Metheringham where we set about the big task of sorting everything out at Julie's Dad's Bungalow.
Lots of old paperwork sorted and shredded where applicable . We also bagged up 5 bin bags of clothes to be donated to the charity shop that will be Mondays task for me dropping them all off .
The journey over we had to make a detour to to flooding in Branston this was also the case coming home as the fire brigade was still pumping out the properties effected. We ended up having to drive through Flood waters which Julie captured while I drove carefully through it.
While over at the Bungalow I decided to blip her Dads Bowls he was a big bowls playing which he got a lot of enjoyment from it and had his own set of Bowls . He had asked me if I wanted them but not having the time to play I declined so he had asked that we give them to a good friend of his in the village who should get some enjoyment and use of them .
Back home and in the warm and dry a relaxed evening is planned .
Hope everyone else is staying safe in these terrible conditions thoughts go out to those who have been badly effected
