All the Fun of the Fair

A very steady day today not doing a lot after the week we have had. 
Plenty of sport on TV . 1st off we watched South Africa hitting England all over the field and reaching a score of 399 in the one day cricket , We decided to head out and not watch the England innings pleased we didn't as it wasn't pretty.
We headed over to Metheringham again this time for some relaxation time. After not been on for a few years due to covid times the Metheringham feast was back on so we decided to go check it out.  Rather disappointing it was not as good as it use to be but fingers crossed they can build on it  It was just good to see it back on .
There is always a fun fair on so I grabbed this shot of the entrance to it and have included an extra of a spiny ride . I really like the dramatic sky in my main shot and sadly the lack of crowd.
We had a walk around and checked everything out Julie spent a bit of cash  and then we headed back home.

Back home I watched the 2nd half stream of Lincolns game away at fleetwood pleased to say we got back to winning ways  1-0 .
It was then on to the London derby  Chelsea V Arsenal  finish 2-2 and now watching Sheff U v Man U which is  2-1 to Man U as I type . Sad news today in the death of England and Man U great Sir Bobby Charlton .

Its about time to enjoy a few beers and chill out for the rest of the evening
