Poligny

The town centre this lunchtime was full of cars and the restaurants were doing a grand trade. It was the plane trees that fascinated us as they were far from plain! Having been cropped for the winter and encouraged to grow in circles to form an umbrella they are just beginning to sprout and soon will provide the necessary shade. After another very hot day (30ish) the sky is black and I fear a storm is on the way, although we have watched them pass up the valley several times in the past. Don't think we are going to be so lucky this time. Here comes the wind. Bye!
