Made in France!
We met our French friends in the market square this morning and Mireille took us to a little farm 6km away where the farmer's wife makes goat cheese from the fresh milk she collects from the 100 goats kept on the farm. Mdm very kindly took us into her dairy an showed us how she makes the cheese and stores it in a cool room with a fan blowing on it. There were hens pecking her lawn, so we had to buy some fresh free range eggs too. On our return we stopped at one of the factories where comte cheese is produced and bought more!
It is much cooler today after last night's storm with the temperature in the low 20s and quite a few clouds about, but none very threatening.
We thought today's blip would be of the meal we are looking forward to having this evening in the restaurant but felt this would be somewhat more interesting. Hope you agree.
