Skinny tornado precursor to a storm

This appeared at 5:30 pm on a day posted as being donner und blizzen. (?)
It didn't happen as forecast so we had a morning by the pool, shuffling sunbeds to catch the D giving rays. After a quiet salad lunch (nothing crunchy in it), we went for a wee stroll along the beach, partly t o suss out somewhere amongst the pirate sunbeds where we could lay our towels without €€€€.
Coming back from the south end (small s) came across the beach volley ball court.  Sadly for all you voyeurs out there, there were no VB Babes in attendance, just a solitary child, captured in the net.
A further effect of the weather forecast was that there was however, a distinct lack of Vulgarians and Brutish to fill the beds. See extras.
As I prod these keys, the promised storm & rain has arrived, then buggered off within 30 mins.
