The pool, once more

Always seem to start a holiday blip with a view of the pool at our accommodation, so here it is.
We are in Side, pronunciation unknown, south mediteranian coast of Turkiye.
4hour, 2 hour late, flight from Glasgow to Antaylia, then a 1 hour harem scarem taxi ride to Side, arriving knackered at 1am today.  Slept fitfully until a certain gravelly voiced gentleman noticed the sun poking it's head above the horizon and started the first call to prayer, which seemed to be largely ignored as no increasing sign of life was observed locally.
After a delayed breakfast circa 10am, a wander around to establish our orientation.   Beach seems inaccessible without contributing to the GNP of Turkiye.  Well thats what we are here for, isn't it?
