Long tailed tit

Still chilly but some rather pleasant sunshine here late morning. After some boring chores, I headed for Fradley Pool as I’ve not been there for a while.

It was quiet but very pleasant to spend a few minutes sitting quietly, watching to see if I could see the various birds that Merlin was listing. The Goldcrests were noisy but hard to spot. A Bittern was listed but I fear Fradley is a little far from Tucklesholme where they are actively creating suitable conditions to encourage them. 

As I glanced at the phone, I noticed that a tiny harlequin ladybird was also nosing to see what was about (extra).
