Up on the Cape
I am now re-trained as an exam supervisor for one of the local high schools, having had a morning with other supervisors where we reminded each other of the intricacies and pitfalls of the process. It was nice to see everybody again.
The exams start in three weeks’ time. They continue for three weeks. And I have eight, possibly nine morning sessions to supervise.
Bean and I will walk on Cape Wanbrow several times each of those weeks, because we both need to clear our heads after a morning of exams / snoozing in the car.
There was no wind up there today, for the first time in ages. And the sun shone. It was lovely. When we returned to the car park I was amused to see this gull perched one-legged atop the orange car. It barely twitched as Bean bounded past: obviously it is used to dogs and walkers.
The rain that fell yesterday totalled 25mm in the end. And it fell as snow on the mountains which are just visible in the background.
