Petroglyph

We took a detour on the way to Santa Fe to visit the National Petroglyph Monument. Midday probably isn't the best time of day just now to walk the trails but there are hundreds of petroglyphs to see and we may never be back here again. I liked this one even though I'm not too sure what the wee guy is doing or wearing!

Santa Fe isn't quite what I expected - for a start it's hot despite everyone saying that it'd be cool in the mountains! The old part of town seems pretty compact but otherwise it's another desert sprawl with mile after mile of strip malls heading into town. But the Second Street Brewery is pretty darned good!!
