Watching the Waves

A and I walked at Cley this morning and were surprised to find the waves so energetic when we got down to the beach.  We could hear the roar of the sea as we approached and talking was difficult walking along the shore line as the waves were so noisy...not that I'm complaining as it sounded fabulous.

We sat up on the shingle ridge on the beach for our coffee and this couple stood for a while in front of us just watching the waves.

The extra is a view down the beach towards Salthouse which shows the spray and mistiness caused by the wave action.
