on the wall
a mono monday piece of light.
it's cold here.
i loved the last read by Chetna Maroo
today i received: a copy of The Third Bus by Bobby Darbyshire, who i met in Waterstone's in Dorchester some years ago and we have been facebook friends ever since...and i even attempted to get her Love Revenge & Buttered Scones considered for a tv drama. i still stand by it!
Truth Games, her first novel, was set on a day in London that i still vividly recall. It rained, torrentially, Chelsea was awash, and i have my own story of that day that is not very interesting, but i loved that her novel brought it all back to me.
