watching: Little Lunch on Netflix
charming Australian series with some very young & talented actors
and an amusing script.  (suitable for small children & adults).

reading:  Western Lane  by Chetna Maroo - a first novel, well written.  
i will definitely finish it tonight because it's more of a novella.
