Hot water and no dog

Good to have a free day with no responsibilities. It turned out the plumber has been on a mini break “abroad” so only responded to my messages this morning. He promised to call around lunch time giving me time to get to Ali’s yoga class and do more post dog/visitors washing.

He arrived on time and discerned that the problem is the incompetent plumbing on the washing machine. Easy fixed and I will refrain from using it except on high days and holidays.

A trip to the library where I found a copy of Dan Cohn-Sherbok and Dawoud El-Alami’s perspective on the Middle East conflict. The cartoon in todays paper sadly sums up the whole calamitous mess.
