5 hour circular walk.

We did a 5 hour walk today in the glorious sunshine!

Chapel Stile, up through the slate quarries, down and across to Little Langdale, on to Skelwith Bridge, up to Elterwater, then back to Chapel Stile.

These Belted Galloways were enjoying a dip in the river Brathay just before it enters Elterwater. The Langdale Pikes are in the background.

Off for a relaxing swim, sauna and jacuzzi now.
