Harvest

A sunny autumn but one which started at a chilly 2 degrees - a bit of a shock to the system after all the mild weather of late. I’m still managing to wear shorts though, which must be a record, it being so late in the year.

A day making the most of the weather, walking Merlin who also seems filled with the joy of warm autumn days, running on his walks to hunt out wind fallen apples which he munches causing himself to froth at the mouth like a wild cider press! And being at the allotment doing more weeding and harvesting borlotti beans - which are now laid out to dry before being stored for use in winter stews.
