essence of magpie

This one feather captures much of what I think of when I think of a magpie.
The stunning good looks of a tuxedo.
The flash of blue around the edges.
The graceful aerodynamics.
In fact, I rather like this essence of magpie because it does not include the annoying chatter of the bird!
