Wimpole Hall

We spent the morning here on our way home from Cambridge. We could have stayed all day! The enormous walled garden was an absolute delight. The home farm full of fascinating livestock including Gloucester Old Spot pigs! The Hall did not open until midday which was, sadly, too late for us. We had to negotiate Friday traffic, heavy rain and squalls and also stock up with supplies as our local grandchildren are sleeping over tonight.
