Homeward bound

Seen from the train London was beautifully grey and misty this morning as we pulled in to Waterloo, with the late summer growth spilling green down the backs of buildings and only a few trees starting to turn  gold.

I went straight into a slightly scary legal meeting (if you read the trades you’ll know what that’s about) about something doesn’t necessarily affect us but could do.

Lunch at 76 Dean St and bagged a table there for dinner with Rory and Charlotte as I’d not managed to find anywhere.

Cutting room and then back for dinner. It was great to be able to welcome cousin Charlotte to London from her trip through South America and good to see Rory.

Caught the 9.30 train home and watched another episode of The Bear which has become relevant to me…it’s brilliant but a tough watch!  I set the alarm on the train as I thought it could be an evening where I slept through my stop.
