Ripe enough to eat

My neighbours 'over the back wall' have a small apple tree growing beside their fence ..... not too many apples but they do look ripe and rosy.

After taking Keta to the park I decided that that grass needed a trim .... quite a high cut but at least the tufts have gone.  Not a bowling green or Wimbledon Centre Court cut but both lawns are better than they were.

Just had a What'sApp message from my gardening boys ..... tomorrow they are coming to do a mega prune and general tidy up .... a big job but they will do it far more quickly than I could.
