Traffic

What should have been a nice relaxing day ended up with lots of travel frustrations. Hubby’s day off but we went over to the shop to take some new stock, we decided to take the scenic countryside route but got stuck in lots of roadworks and at one point didn’t move for ten minutes.
We met up with some friends from our bowling league for lunch. A delicious carvery followed by traditional puds was most enjoyable. Lots of chatter and laughs.
Our journey home was held up by this railway carriage and it’s police escort. It really struggled to get up a couple of hills and crossed both lanes of the dual carriageway. Lovely old train to see though.
