A hoverfly on a late flowering weed

I was surprised to see this small hoverfly on one of the last flowers of a garden weed. I tried to follow its attempts to feed on the nectar as it moved all around the flower, but could never get it parallel to the camera, so not all of it is in focus. It is all good practice and at least I had a chance to see its head diving into the heart of the flower.
